The shareholders of the AMC AG – with its three business units Intercoat, Global Notes and Print Inform – have signed an agreement to sell their shares to UPM Raflatac. This acquisition allows UPM Raflatac to grow further and to expand its product range strategically. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be closed during the third quarter of 2022. UPM Raflatac expects the acquisition to significantly accelerate AMC’s growth on the one hand and to bring considerable synergies on the other hand.
